Loyal supporters of the actress are urging that a person who breached a barricade and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet surrounded by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to appear on the next day. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile contains recordings of him disrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Grande's Well-being

Many followers blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented a further message on Instagram.

A number of fans also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while others requested online networks to block Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

The musical itself is a derivative of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning film of 2024 in the UK, and scored ten award recognitions, earning two for outstanding attire and production design.
