Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
