Wilfried Nancy declared he did not fear dismissal, asserting, “The team is very near to a turnaround,” in the wake of sliding worryingly close to the exit with a convincing loss to Rangers.

A Second-Half Collapse Results in Old Firm Defeat

Nancy’s Persistent Belief

“The standard we had at times was exceptionally high. That is a fact. I could not talk like that if it was not the case. Therefore, when it comes to wins, I said this is the same story. Which is why I believe we are really close to getting it right. Currently: the fine margins.”

“We produced many, many good things that we did, as was the case today. The issue now comes down to consistency. My message would be different the same. This is why I am convinced the team can to get back on track.”

Opposition Reaction Response

Rangers manager was cautious about a serious challenge even after what seemed like a huge result. “We take it game by game, so we can really build up something here,” he said. “The faith in the team is immense.”
